The three low temperature settings can be used to maintain a low temperature for up to two hours, ideal for defrosting, warming, simmering and stewing food.
The low temperature settings are:
44oC - ideal for melting butter or chocolate
70oC - perfect for keeping food to temperature when cooked
94oC - which is optimal simmering temperature
